Jeremy Corwin spent thirteen years teaching Social Studies, Leadership, and Computers at R.A. Brown Middle School before moving to Century High School as the dean of students in 2018. After two years in that role, he became one of the school’s assistant principals. In the 2021-22 school year, he served as both assistant principal and athletic director. At Century, Corwin was instrumental in ensuring more 9th and 10th graders were on track to graduation. He also facilitated the school’s Care Team and launched “Kid Talks” to bring teachers together to collaborate around individual students’ strengths, challenges, and supports. For the past two years, Corwin has been the assistant principal of Tuality Middle School in Tigard. There, he has again centered student, staff, and community voice and input to cultivate a positive school climate. He has also led professional development, refined attendance team procedures, and supported new teachers leading to zero percent attrition in 2023. |
